About This Workshop

Our Youth Support Workshop is a safe, compassionate space where young people aged 12–18 can come together, share experiences, and develop practical coping strategies. Led by Julia Burleigh, a trained counsellor with a passion for youth support, each session focuses on:

  • ✓ Building Resilience: Learn practical tools to navigate challenges and build emotional strength.
  • ✓ Creating Connections: Meet peers who understand what you're going through in a non-judgmental environment.
  • ✓ Developing Coping Strategies: Discover techniques to manage stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions.
  • ✓ Finding Hope: Explore pathways to healing and building a positive future.

Meet Your Facilitator

Julia Burleigh, Counsellor

Julia brings warmth, expertise, and genuine compassion to every session. With an Honours degree in Psychology and specialized training in Suicide Prevention, she is dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of young people. Julia believes that helping others is one of the most important things we can do, and she is committed to providing strength, safety, and a listening ear to every participant.

Workshops are provided completely free of charge. Our mission is to ensure that every young person in crisis has access to support, regardless of their financial situation. All sessions are confidential and conducted in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
